Obtaining high quality video production or 3d animation quotes is extremely important.
Make sure you are getting a "Like for Like" price from the various video companies you have chosen to quote. For example; What video cameras will the companies be using? If one company quotes for using a full Broadcast camera, such as HDCAM or XDCAM HD, then the other company quotes for using a hand-held consumer HDV camera. A brief History of Video Production at NBS Studio
The video production company NBS Studio was formed back in January 1998 by Neil Smith. Since then NBS Studio has grown as a provider of video production services and 3d animation. We first provided 3d animation to other video production companies and soon after other services like Interactive Multimedia CD-ROM's (1999), Website Design Development (2000), DVD Production (2001) & DVD Authoring (2001), DVD Duplication, and DVD Replication (2005) were soon added.
In 2005 NBS Studio became a registered member of Nominet UK (the domain registration organisation for .uk domains). At the same time we began to provide Website Hosting services alongside NBS Studio's Website Design services. This gave NBS Studio the ability to offer a high quality service in the supply and maintenance of clients websites and email services.
During 2008 NBS Studio began production of a High Definition video service, using the latest XDCAM HD video cameras to film corporate video productions. To cope with HD video production NBS Studio built a new 8-core video editing system which includes 4TB of RAID-0 storage space for video files and graphics. During 2008 NBS Studio added Blu-Ray production, producing our first Blu-Ray production disc for the NFRC & ConstructionSkills.
Today with continuing knowledge, videos can be produced quicker and cheaper. As NBS Studio continues to expand in to the future, prices for filming will be coming down and quality going up. With the move towards non-tape based video production, NBS Studio will make it easier and quicker to film, edit and produce your final video project within shorter times.

2010 is going to see another leap forward with our "Beyond HD" video process. Filming using the latest RED DIGITAL CINEMA camera's NBS Studio is gearing up to provide 4K video production. In fact we can provide this video production service NOW using the RED One digital cinema camera. Lower costs for "Beyond HD" will come in to effect when NBS Studio purchases the new RED Scarlet digital cinema camera in the near future.

Video production developments in to the future can be hard to predict. NBS Studio believes it is dangerous to stand still as a video production company, so moving forward with new technology is our driving force.
It is our intention to advance NBS Studio providing video at the same quality and resolution of film (4 times greater than HD). Video camera technology is improving fast. Image quality, even in low light video production shoots, is improving with new technology such as HDRx™. This technology gives excellent image quality in low light environments, where other high-end broadcast video cameras, like HDCAM, will simply fail. If you want your video to have the look of film, and for each shot to have the aesthetics of photography, then choose NBS Studio.
Video media is also now being produced on non-tape based media such as Optical Discs, Compact Flash cards and Solid-State hard drives. These new media formats allow for instant access of the recorded footage for client preview or fast file transfer to a non-linear editing system. Captured video files on these formats mean you are always editing with files that have not gone through a second level of compression, as you would from tape-based formats like BetacamSP, DVCAM, HDV, DVCPro, DVCProHD & HDCAM.
NBS Studio is also looking in to the advantages of 3d stereoscopic video production as a future service to clients. We will develop this further as and when clients begin to request 3d video.
